Melissa Fullerton is the Executive Director and part owner and has a BA in Elementary Education, is approved as a Center Director by the State, and has been working in the Child Care field since 1981 and as a Director since 1998.  Melissa has a level 6 child care credential and has received her National Administrator Credential from the National Child Care Association.  She is a current member of the Maryland State Child Care Association and the National Child Care Association, as well as the National Association of Child Care Professionals.  You can email Melissa @ melissa@joykidslearning.com

Kenneth Graham is the Business Director and co-owner of Joy Kids Learning Center.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree in English and a Masters in Business Administration from Montreat College in western North Carolina. After graduating with his Masters in Business Administration, Kenneth served as Vice President of Small Business Banking and Global Government Banking in Washington, DC and developed an extensive background in operations and policy and procedures throughout his banking career.  In 2010 Kenneth pursued his dream of working with children and went to work for the Anne Arundel County Public School system as a Substitute Teacher with Mayo Elementary School.  After spending so much time in the elementary school he learned how critical early childhood education is to the success of a child and decided to open Joy Kids Learning Center.  He is elated to be a part of the Joy Kids Learning Center.  You can email Kenneth @ kenneth@joykidslearning.com . 


Barbara Vrable
I am so excited to be a part of a beautiful new center with owners in which I share their passion for developing a strong foundation for your child’s social, emotional, physical and academic growth. A strong parent-child-teacher partnership is critical for each child’s success and I am looking forward to getting to know you as well as your child.

I have an Early Childhood/ Special Education Degree from Bowie State University. I am a seasoned teacher with years of experience teaching children. I love to “catch children being good” and send home happy notes or happy grams.

On a personal note, I am married to Jay Vrable and have a 16 year old daughter, Rachel, and a little dog named Tucker. Our family enjoys trips to park, library, movies, the neighborhood pool, and vacations at the beach.
